ADF&G Indoor Shooting Range

The Alaska Department of Fish & Game Fairbanks Hunter Education Indoor Shooting Range opened to the public in the fall of 2000. One priority use of the facility is for hunter education and training. Our public shooting program and firearms instruction program is maintained to the extent possible.

Shooting Range

The Division of Mining, Land and Water manages all state-owned land except for trust property and units of the Alaska State Park System. When all land conveyances under the Alaska Statehood Act are complete, the division will be responsible for over 100 million acres of uplands, including non-petroleum minerals in these lands.
