Connecticut Pistol Permit Safety Course

If you want to carry a firearm and/or to purchase a firearm for the purpose of getting into the shooting sports and you currently live in or are visiting Connecticut, then you have come to the right place. I am a Certified NRA Instructor, and a life long gun enthusiast. I teach the Basic Pistol Permit Course required by the State of Connecticut. This gun class is the first step in obtaining your pistol permit. This class is not intended to turn you into a marksman or teach you personal protection. As with anything, proficiency comes with practice. Completing the course does not guarantee that the state will issue you a permit. You still must meet all of the DPS requirements. My goal is for you to leave this class with the knowledge and understanding of firearms, so that you may enjoy the sport safely.
